This is a rubber crumb underlay which has been specially developed for use with laminate and wood flooring. It is relatively lightweight and delivers excellent impact sound reduction. It should be laid with the metallised polyester scrim upwards and the rubber crumb to the subfloor. This is to facilitate taping of the joints with vapour tape (22VAP25), ensuring good resistance to moisture transmission. This underlay is suitable for underfloor heating.
