Osmo Maintenance Oil is a high-quality, clear or transparent, fast-drying wood finish designed for the care and maintenance of oiled and waxed wooden floors and furniture. It effectively revives dull or matte surfaces without the need for sanding or extensive renovation work. Key Features: Revives Dull Surfaces: Restores the natural beauty of oiled and waxed wood surfaces, enhancing their appearance without the need for sanding. Protects Against Stains: Provides resistance to common household liquids such as wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juice, milk, and water, preventing water spots and stains. Safe and Environmentally Friendly: Once dry, the finish is safe for humans, animals, and plants, and is suitable for children’s toys as per EN 71.3. Quick Drying: Dries within 3-4 hours, allowing for efficient maintenance routines. Application Guidelines: Surface Preparation: Ensure the wood surface is clean, dry (moisture content max. 18%), and free of dust. Clean the surface thoroughly with Osmo Intensive Cleaner and rinse with clear water. Application: Apply a thin, even coat of Osmo Maintenance Oil along the wood grain using an Osmo Double Blade Scraper or Microfibre Roller. Massage the oil into the wood with a white pad (do not massage in 3098). Remove any excess product. Drying: Allow the treated surface to dry for 3-4 hours before use. Cleaning Tools: Clean application tools with Osmo Brush Cleaner. Recommended Use: Osmo Maintenance Oil is ideal for maintaining all wooden flooring treated with Polyx®-Oil, including solid wood, plank, parquet, blockstrip, OSB, and cork flooring, as well as stairs and furniture. It is particularly recommended for high-traffic areas such as restaurants, museums, and other commercial spaces. Storage and Shelf Life: Store in a cool, dry place, protected from frost. The product has a shelf life of up to 5 years when stored properly in unopened packaging.
