The Ernie Ball JP15 7-string electric guitar features a lightweight okoume body with your choice of a quilted or flame maple top, offered in striking Red Tide, Green Tiger Eye, Ultramarine, and Amber Waves finishes. Its roasted figured maple neck and fingerboard deliver a smooth, fast-playing surface enhanced by stainless-steel frets and a hand-rubbed oil and wax finish for natural comfort. Electronics on the JP15 7-string include DiMarzio Illuminator pickups, a piezo-equipped bridge for realistic acoustic tones and an onboard 20 dB gain boost for added punch and tonal range. The piezo system supports mono or stereo output, letting you route magnetic and piezo signals through separate chains. Two 3-way toggle switches give you full controlone selects between magnetic, piezo or combined output, while the other toggles between bridge, neck or both magnetic pickups. A push/push tone knob splits the coils in the middle position for added versatility. Additional features include a floating Music Man JP tremolo, locking Schaller tuners and a Mono case.
